A Lifetime of Service to McLean County
Kathy has dedicated her career to serve McLean County.
"As a Democratic Election Judge for over 3 decades, I GLADLY endorse a Republican. . . Kathy Michael. This is about doing the job well, NOT party politics."
— Dennis C. Stott
From a farmhouse to the County Clerk's office
This photo is me on the right with our dog, Lassie along with my sister Linda and our mom. This photo was before my two brothers came along! I grew up in Money Creek Township, rural Lexington. McLean County is home.
I was first elected County Clerk in 2010, and honored to be re-elected in 2014, 2018 and 2022 all by double-digits. 2026 is a very different election environment. So many people, Democrats, Republicans and Independents have mentioned to me the last couple of years especially, how discouraged they are with politics. I encourage you to not let state or national politics discourage you from voting for your local candidates. McLean County is a shining light in Illinois. You can help keep it this way by getting out to vote. The election is November 3. Early Voting days/times/hours will be announced the first week in August if not before.
I would be honored to continue to work for you and I ask for your vote.
