Kathy's Priorities for McLean County

Kathy has the much-needed experience needed to continue to run this very busy office effectively in these most challenging times.

A Clear Vision

Proven Leadership, Forward-Looking Solutions

The County Clerk's office touches every voter, every election, and every vital record in McLean County. Kathy's platform is built on the experience of running this office — and a commitment to making every process updated as needed each year. If mistakes are made, they are addressed immediately and corrected through communication and collaboration with staff, Administration and the County Board and Kathy has made a point to reach out often to encourage in-person meetings in the office to discuss any issues of interest or concern along with keeping the media and the public updated.

Kathy and her staff have administered 25 elections over 16 years. There has been no voter fraud or voter suppression ever report in McLean County. Election machines are not live and cannot be hacked and voters can track their ballots if they vote by mail to assure their ballot has arrived at the election office. All election processes are open to the public for observation and cameras are set up for continual voting security. All processes are staffed with Democratic and Republican election judges. Kathy will continue investing in secure, auditable voting systems, rigorous poll worker training, and transparent post-election reporting so McLean County voters always have confidence in the election results.
